Last night we came together and we gathered. There was a quiet, collective consensus that this would be a 'once in a lifetime' moment for the spirited ones who felt called. These have been intense times, yet this fine evening there was silent agreement that it was time to feel the joy. The fairy lights and candles lit up the forest, the path meandered up to the rickety train tracks, leading us to the rustic tunnel. It was otherworldly, a portal to the unknown. A time and space for us to come together. The stars, the music, the fire, the dancing, the tribe, the children, the celebration. Surreal, magical and mythical. Words are not able to capture the beauty, some moments can only be felt. Over times gone by, many of us have been coming apart, in our lands we get the healing power of falling apart. The beauty is that when all falls apart only truth remains. When everything that no longer serves drops away, what is left is a space of peace, and liberation. In the moment it feels painful and intensely uncomfortable, yet therein lays freedom. As humans we love to cling to safety, the known, the comfortable. It is the surrendering to a greater plan that our small minds cannot conceive of, that is the greatest adventure. The mystery of life. Its like a quote I once heard, “you have to lose everything to gain everything” When the old is shed, it can feel intense, it feels like the most fierce winds or destructive of storms. The blessing is disguised and its only after the fact, that the greater plan is unveiled. We were destined to live a life that is in resonance with who we are. Anything that is not in alignment with the core of who we are, is quickly disappearing.
